To strengthen our team, we are looking for a Quality Project Engineer.
Function Target :
Lead quality planning activities for Components Business Unit projects kicked at Yazaki Europe Limited;
Lead the functional reviews for the assigned Components Business Unit projects;
Quality concern resolution in project phase. (Get involved in quality issues in project phase / participate in problem solving activities and customer / supplier meetings);
Lead product safety and regulatory related concerns
Perform audits at supplier sites (Yazaki Components) in case of project quality issues (during project phase);
Support Supply Management with audits at potential / existing suppliers;
Collect PPAP documentation from related departments;
Perform PPAP verification and approval before submission to Customer;
Comply with all companies processes policies and procedures, both on local and central level (including Global headquarters);
align this with local legislation and requirements;
Work to meet Yazaki s internal & customer quality targets;
Reduce customer claims / PPM s.
Minimum & Preferential Requirements :
Technical degree in Engineering;
Technical background and understanding of complex quality technical processes;
Very good knowledge of project management principles and methods;
Knowledge about stamping, assembly and moulding, processes;
Good knowledge of quality management system standards : IATF 16949 and ISO 9001;
Knowledge, qualification and experience on PSCR responsibilities and activities
Knowledge about automotive quality tools such as APQP, FMEA, 8D Reporting, 5Why, PPAP and VDA 6.3;
Excellent communication and moderation skills;
High personal motivation and the ability to develop practical or innovative alternative approaches to meet objectives;
Capacity to work under pressure and dealing with conflicts;
Strong analytical background;
Advanced English language skills;
Proficient user in Microsoft Office and Project;
Willingness to travel (about 10%).
