Job Profile

The Network and Security Engineer - Trainee is part of the Infrastructure and Cloud Services Team and is responsible for the operation of the network and security infrastructure , protecting Euronext IT assets.

Is also responsible for a number of processes to ensure maintenance and operations run in the most effective and reliable manner : operational reviews, liaison with key suppliers and support cases and infrastructure verifications.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required

The applicant is expected to have the following skills and experience on appointment :

Degree in Computer Science;

Security Oriented mindset :

Internetworking know-how;

Knowledge of Firewall technology and how to apply them in a service oriented enterprise environment;

Cisco or Juniper Certifications are an advantage;

Understanding of Data Centre Infrastructure, such as structured cabling, power distribution, cooling;

Knowledge of common services, DNS / NTP / DHCP, etc.;

Use of network probes and monitors;

WDM;

Experience of scripting languages such as Python and Perl;

Network Management and configuration systems;

Fluency in English.

It is an advantage if the following technologies are understood by candidate :

Cisco SourceFire IDS / IPS;

FireEye APT;

Pulse Secure;

RSA SecurID;

Aruba Wireless;

Azure;

Check Point Firewall / VPN;

Fortinet Firewall;

Netscaler WAF;

DDOS Counter Measures;
