The Account Executive at Microsoft serves as the face of Microsoft leading our most valued customers into the digital age.
This role is vital to Microsoft’s competitive ambitions.Traditional sales engagement methods have evolved and customers are seeking consultative partnerships, not vendor, customer relationships.
Armed with world class cloud solutions, your role is to unlock the potential of enterprise customers by demonstrating clear business value accelerating their digital transition and success : through ideation, project envisioning and value demonstration, either leveraging MS resources, partners and ISVs.
High level customer satisfaction is a key measure, as are revenue, consumption and adoption targets across our 3 clouds.

Plan and present clear vision of customer success for retail / consumer goods / transports & infrastructure customers
Build and own holistic customer plan detailing critical insights and new business opportunities in the territory;
Build coalition of support at C-level both inside Microsoft but mainly with customers in the industry, based on digital transformation business impact pitch and action plan to achieve it;
Develop and lead team centric approach with extended teams.Direct clear opportunity to lead by influence virtual account team members;
Increase technical and industry acumen delivering innovative ideas to accelerate customers success in the cloud;
Construct and / or consolidate a though leadership market / POV statement that support MS differentiation in the market / industry;
Laser focus on business outcomes that propel customer satisfaction and return, whilst achieving company s objectives :
Consistent, repeatable achievement of revenue and consumption targets through disciplined pipeline, forecast management;
Leverage and usage of key business insights to elevate customer conversation and action;
Work closely with partners in terms of planning & execution and business development (deal making) ;
World class customer service through alignment of customer objectives and plan to achieve them;
Deliver tangible industry solutions to customers to achieve efficiencies, cost savings, and top line growth;
Program management capabilities to track, trace and mobilize teams (internal & external) to move ACR engagements from ideation up to execution;
Operational (de) construct insight, to effectively mobilize account coverage / resources, teams performance & capacity and engagement fast deployment;
Leverage and liaise with international resources and competencies / experts to game up MS market making impact
Deal making and negotiation skills for deal closure;
Experiences Required : Education, Key Experiences, Skills and Knowledge :
Strong growth mindset. Problem solving and structured approach to overcome complex customer challenges;
Strong communication skills, clear and sharp, with sufficient depth to earn client s confidence and attention;
Capacity to bridge and translate between technology and business settings / issues / challenges;
Proven ability to lead, build trust and be highly credible across levels of organizations;
Ability to take chances and navigate with confidence at C-level and high end business decision makers;
Organization and diligence (be consequent);
Eagerness to learn and to inspire others, based on educative and fact based insights;
Strong business background, idealy with some technology-related experience specifically in the Portuguese retail / consumer goods / transports & infrastructure, preferably;
Experience in business and / or technology consulting, both in delivery roles as well as business development;
A Bachelor’s degree with exposure to Information Technology (or equivalent) is required; MBA is preferred.
Fluent in Portuguese and English
