About the role
Your Opportunity This role will take leadership of Whisky, Rebel Brands and Bacardi in Portugal with specific responsibility of developing and deploying annual marketing plans that deliver integrated customer and consumer programs to drive healthy brand growth for now and the future of the brand.
A focus will be resetting the brands business, diversifying the channel and occasion mix post Covid. In this role you will engage and influence senior leadership and the wider business in the strategy for those brands in Portugal.
In addition, you will be accountable for delivering Brand performance targets in the country, and driving value creation for our Company.
Specific responsibilities include :
You will input to the situation assessment of your Brand in the Country, contributing to defining the Jobs to be Done each year as part of the annual Integrated Activity Planning (IAP) process
You will extend the Global IAP into a robust Country brand plan, coordinating with your local Customer Marketing team to deliver maximum impact in-market and deliver annual Brand financial and commercial targets
You will manage an A&P budget for your brand as assigned to you by the cluster Brand Director
You will lead the in-market delivery of all consumer-facing Brand activities and partner with Customer Marketing on all trade-facing activities, as defined in the IAP, ensuring executional excellence
You will ensure we measure and evaluate the performance of all Brand activities in your Country to optimize A&P spend
This role is based in Lisbon and may require some traveling to meet with customers and third parties.
With our Consumer at the heart, your key focus will be :
Building annual plans and programming that puts the consumer at the heart of everything we do
Working closely with CPA & Commercial Teams to ensure full TTL deliver of programming to drive sales and equity gains.
Development of comms in partnership with the Global team
Leading local media, PR, experiential agencies to ensure we deliver innovative activities that deliver against CCGC and CJTBD to drive brand equity & desire
Build effective relationships and excitement within the organization with all stakeholders to ensure engagement leading to project delivery and always maximizing the innovation opportunity.
Actively monitor Brands KPIs and provide guidance on corrective action to achieve agreed objectives
Ensuring clear M&E for 80% of plans and programming
Full P&L responsibility ensuring it is delivered to budget
Creating a winning team
Actively support effective matrix working across Global, Cluster and Country
Strong relationship across the business with the PLT.
Skills and Experience
The Skills & Experiences needed to create your legacy
Brand management experience in progressive roles, leading different Marketing projects (but required minimum of 5 years experience as Brand Manager)
Experience multiple specialty areas : digital, innovation, promotions, events, media, etc.
Degree and / or professional Marketing qualifications
Fluent command in English
Great at communicating and motivating cross-functional teams, vendors, agencies to deliver. Ability to generate meaningful presentations
Analytical skills with a demonstrated aptitude turning data and information into actionable insights.
Demonstrated leading the development and execution of annual brand strategy
Demonstrated excellence in execution in previous roles
Comfortable in working with ambiguity and change
High personal ownership, passion to perform & win

Drinks and Luxury Category experience is an advantage
