The New Business Finance Manager for Ireland, Portugal, Austria is responsible to drive Cloud New Business in all 3 subsidiaries across all segments.
The finance manager will partner very closely with the CFOs and segment leaders in each of the subsidiaries, will collaborate very closely with the Western Europe New Business Community and reports to the Cluster CFO for Ireland, Portugal, Austria.
Key enabler of success will be cooperation with other organizations within Finance and Microsoft in general, enabling cross-group collaboration and bringing diverse expertise.
In Global Sales Marketing and Operations (GSMO) Finance, we?re driving shareholder value in 60 subsidiaries and carry the local accountability for the financials as well as statutory and compliance matters across all Microsoft commercial segments and products. We :
Land the company vision around the transformation of our business and customer orientation in the subsidiaries and externally.
Drive strategic resource allocation and investments through local insights, ensuring optimal returns aligned with our worldwide strategy.
Key focus is on New Business and consumption with an industry and workload perspective.
Build trust to lay the foundation of long-term growth from a customer and shareholder point of view in a compliant way

Drive Cloud New Business growth across all segments : Field Revenue Accountability (FRA), Total Azure Commitment (TAC) and Customer Adds, from an overall Customer Lifetime Value (CLV) perspective. Do this by :
Identifying white space opportunities
Building product and segment deep analytics and actionable insights with a solution lens
Developing and coordinating actions, investments and initiatives until the opportunities have landed and services are consumed
Removing blockers as they pertain to the new growth initiatives being pursued
Provide Compete and leverage Industry analytics to assess and prioritize market opportunities and threats
Support STU Leads directly around financial ROB for STU / Investments requests / Customer engagements / Overall STU ROI / Compliance
Provide area / country-level insights in customer trends, workloads, solutions. engage relevant stakeholders to drive action
Participate in Area / WW NB communities, contribute to projects, share and learn from WW best practices
Critical Indicators of success :
Data analysis and insights that enable New Business growth across the 5 solution areas (in partnership with Segment, CSA, AHQ and EG Finance Managers)
Compete and Industry analytics
Area / Country customer and market trend assessments, translated into specific opportunities and actions
Solid Area / Country / Industry growth plans
Area / Country Aspiration / LRP models
7-10+ years of experience in relevant finance positions
Experience in Multinationals with multi-product / multi-segment finance roles is recommended
BA / BS or MBA degree in Finance, Economics, CPA / CA preferred
Strong analytical skills and business acumen
Proven collaboration and teaming spirits, including virtual engagement
Advanced communication, negotiation, and influencing skills
Fluent in English
IT / Tech industry experience is desired but not specially required
Strong Leadership on values & integrity with ability to scale and influence for impact
