Job Description
As a System Tester, you will be part of a highly innovative development community, create and drive competence in technology to the next level.
Your main task will be the validation and verification of the basic functionality of our new safety PLCs in interaction with our safety and standard components (safety IOs, servo drives, motion control).
You will work closely together with our software developers in international environment.
Key areas of responsibility
Creation and execution of manual and automated tests;
Creation of the required test documentation;
To execute test cases that assure adequate quality of the system;
Organizes and tracks test activities;
Supports team regarding test activities;
Setup testing environment, maintain availability and resolve technical issues with limited support;
Execute performance testing, present results for validation and analysis to project team;
Assist and train engineers and / or interns in using automated test solutions.
Qualifications
Main experience required :
Experienced in quality assurance and testing;
Knowledge of the requirements for the verification and validation process of functional safety components;
User knowledge of industrial automation technology, in particular in the area of programmable safety controls and safety field buses (e.g. FSoE, PROFIsafe);
Basic User knowledge in Motion Control Applications (Motion control, servo drives);
Experienced in executing test automation, scripting, manual test;
Application knowledge of drive-based safety functions desirable;
Knowledge of agile methodologies;
Language : Excellent spoken and written English skills are a must.
