The role :

The team is responsible for the global payment and fraud performance of the Farfetch platform. This leads to diverse streams of work like analysing customer trends and data to form the right strategies, managing dozens of 3rd party provider relationships, managing a budget in the tens of millions of dollars, and working with product and engineering teams to shape our product offering.

The Analytics Manager - Payments & Fraud will lead a team that analyses a wide array of inputs to create strategies and insights that shape our payment and fraud proposition.

In addition, the team owns core services and processes that are vital to the success of the area.

What You’ll do :

  • Lead, coach and develop a team of high-performing business analysts.
  • Lead a strategy for managing qualitative and quantitative data in the Payments and Fraud area, and ensuring this data is used to take meaningful decisions and prioritize how we improve the experience of our customers.
  • Manage core services and processes such as performance optimisation, data governance, cost management and budgeting - focusing on automation as we scale.
  • Own and create strategies for continuously improving key performance indicators relating to customer experience, revenue and cost.
  • Constantly assess the payments and fraud landscape to identify opportunities and risks for our area.
  • Work with the Payments and Fraud Partnership team to ensure we are optimizing and taking full advantage of the product sets and services of our 3rd party providers around the globe.
  • Work with the Payments and Fraud Partnership team to create strategies for delivering payments insight to our internal stakeholders.
  • Ensure payments and fraud works end-to-end at Farfetch by optimizing payments related processes and data flows throughout the business in teams such as Customer Service, Finance Operations, IT Security, Personal Shoppers, Product, Engineering, Marketing and beyond.
  • Who You Are :

  • 6+ years of relevant experience, with 2+ leading people. Payment and / or Fraud experience is an advantage, but we're open to candidates that can prove their adaptability and have relevant transferable skills.
  • You’re passionate about leading and developing a high performing team.
  • You’re logical, numerical and analytical; and your experience demonstrates this. You’re comfortable leading a team of analysts that work in languages like SQL, Big Query, Looker etc.
  • You’re entrepreneurial and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. You can work with a high degree of independence, and in situations of uncertainty or ambiguity.
  • Capable of working under pressure and deliver in the agreed deadlines
  • Capable and motivated to develop and deliver a strategic vision.
  • A natural organizer, able to break complex challenges into easy to manage parts.
  • A very strong team player that knows how to work with others to get things done.
  • Fluent in English, and a skilled communicator in it. You’re able to build relationships and present at different levels.
