About Appirio Porto CoE
We are focused on three areas :
i) Commerce Cloud Digital (specialised in the Salesforce Commerce Cloud platform, enabling our clients to become leaders in the eCommerce space)
ii) a Salesforce Delivery Center working with Salesforce core Clouds (covering Europe-wide project demand)
iii) an Innovation Hub (to create pre-built accelerators and assets enabling our Customers to leverage their cloud investment faster with general business and industry-specific solutions)
Brief Summary of Role

Customer satisfaction will be the driving force in their motivation. Responsibilities
Work on new development initiatives, as well as bug fixes and enhancements.
Work in project teams and assist in functionality mapping, configuration, development, testing on Commerce platform.
Capable of doing code reviews and root cause analysis.
Capable of providing development estimates.
Capable to understand task requirements clearly.
Collaborate with the rest of the project team to achieve successful outcomes.
Ability to adapt and develop solutions in an agile / hybrid environment.
Ability to participate / demonstrate his / her work to client via presentation or verbally to articulate developed features and can propose solutions.
Excellent listening & reading skills to fully understand the customer requirements and pain points.
Driven by customer success with a team player attitude.
Key Technical Knowledge
Knowledge of REST, SOAP, WSDL, JSON and XML.
Experience on Agile, DB and B2C or B2B Commerce platforms.
Having knowledge on any of the following is a plus :
Salesforce B2C Commerce familiarity (ex : Demandware)
Familiarity with Git (version control)
Frontend frameworks (angularJs, react, bootstrap), module loaders (webpack) and preprocessors (sass)
Backend familiarity with Node JS, including frameworks (Express), testing (mocha) and package managers (npm)
Troubleshooting / Debugging Skills
Understand the agile delivery model
Experience working and collaborating with team members located in countries like USA, UK and Japan.
Enthusiastic, professional, and confident personality, with a focus on customer success.
Education and Required Experience
2+ years of e-commerce development experience
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business or equivalent combination of education and experience
Fluent in English with other European languages preferable
Located in Porto
