At Talkdesk, our Engineering team follows a micro-service architecture approach to build the next generation of Talkdesk, with vertical teams responsible for all the decisions under their services.

Through our Agile Coaches, we promote agile and collaborative practices, we are huge fans of Scrum, pair programming and we won’t let a single line of code reach production without peer code reviews.

We are looking for a talented Software Engineer in Test to integrate the Natural Language Processing team at Talkdesk. We need someone that is a natural problem solver, who likes to be challenged, has the drive to explore and is committed to quality.

We expect you to be a truly team player, reliable and easy to communicate with. You will work on the You will work on the design and implementation of test suites to ensure the quality and robustness of our solutions.

More specifically, you will have to :

Identify business risks from written requirements and user stories.

Design, document and implement test cases and test plans to ensure the quality, reliability and scalability of our solutions.

Record and track quality assurance metrics, elaborate problem reports and communicate clearly with technical and non-technical audiences.

Work with Support and Customer Success teams to identify high-impact bugs and coordinate fixes with the engineering team.

What are we looking for?

MSc / PhD in Computer Science or related fields.

Experience with software development and software quality assurance (Java, Python, R, etc).

Experience with quality assurance methodologies and practices.

Knowledge of quality assurance automation frameworks (e.g. Selenium, Cucumber, JMeter, etc).

Familiarity with agile development and continuous delivery practices.
