Staples Digital Production Center Europe, Based in Lisbon, needs to recruit :

Job Purpose :

The Digital Designer is responsible for the creative execution and production of digital design work. He / She will ensure local and corporate marketing objectives are met and that all projects are completed accurately and on schedule.

As part of the European Production Studio, the Digital Designer will work closely with the Operations Manager new development web and Sr web designers GTM and emails situated in Amsterdam.

He / She will help to create a winning strategy for a well working digital assets to be used in Staples own or paid media.

His / Her tasks will include designing digital campaigns for all the 3 channels (online, retail, advantage) based on European Go To Market standardisation and local flavour needs that have an instant, positive impact on the consumer in order to promote the product or brand being advertised.

Knowledge, skills & experience

Education and Experience :

  • Bachelors’s or Master’s degree, preferably with a graphic design focus.
  • At least 5 years of digital design experience. Web design knowledge and skills are must.
  • Work experience in an international company.
  • Excellent computer skills that enables Him / Her to be a comfortable Macintosh user with in-depth knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (In Design, Illustrator, Photoshop, Dreamweaver), html 5 and css.

  • Be highly creative : have a thorough understanding of photography, typography, printing and web design. Has an interest in social and cultural trends and fashions.
  • Has attention to detail, good eye for design and ability to meet standards of Staples brand guidelines. Thoroughness in accomplishing a task through concern for all the areas involved, no matter how small.
