Job Description
Our distributed cross-functional team is building a trading platform for a huge asian broker. We integrate directly with stock exchanges through proprietary binary protocols to place orders on traders behalf.
One of the biggest challenges is to make it fast (95% of orders should be handled within 300ms), durable and scalable (we expect to have more than 20M active traders in a few years there)!
Right now the team consists of : 7 backend, 3qa and 2 devops engineers, a business analyst and a PM. And we are looking for an opportunity to team up with an experienced Java Software Engineer.
This is an incredible opportunity to work on high availability and consistency of a distributed system that processes millions of operations on daily basis.
On top of that you'll be presented other challenges such as (but not limited to) :
Along with that you’re going to be expected to maintain high test coverage and instill best coding practices. Finally, all the team is actively involved with system health monitoring and its support.
