Your responsibilities :

  • Responsible for assigned Category Facility Management and its corresponding supplier base in YEL;
  • Define and implement category / sub-category strategy;
  • Review supplier base, define robust preferred supplier base, reduce number of suppliers and bundle business accordingly;
  • Follow overall SM Saving and Cost Avoidance targets, benchmark responsible category spend frequently (min. 2 times / year), identify potentials, lead supplier negotiations and implement potentials accordingly;
  • Ensure data transparency and high data quality in all Yazaki Purchasing used systems (e.g. SAP);
  • Follow Yazaki Procedures (e.g. Sourcing Approval), work and cooperate closely with Local Indirect Purchasing teams and ensure compliance across all Purchasing activities;
  • Improve and implement standardization for assigned category (standard documents used by all YEL affiliates);
  • Contract Management - ensure transparency in regards to all contracts, reviewing terms and validities frequently;
  • Global alignment with Yazaki North America (YNA);
  • Frequent reporting of Supply Management related tasks by conducting regular project review and Roadmap meetings;
  • Periodically reporting of cost saving status and achieved cost improvement performance by using the established Supply Management templates and tools;
  • Systematically contribute to the overall achievement of all assigned Indirect Purchasing KPI's such as Cost Saving Status, Payment Terms, No of active suppliers etc.;
  • Compliance with central functional as well as corporate objectives in accordance with annual objectives set in every Fiscal Year;
  • Overall compliance according to all assigned Roles & Responsibilities in line with current Supply Management standards and procedures.
  • Your profile :

  • Master or bachelor degree in business administration;
  • Robust experience (4 6 years) in the automotive industry (preferred) or any other industries, where the candidate has conducted Purchasing activities, in best case in Facility Management (e.
  • g. Security Services, Employee Transportation, Canteen Services, Cleaning);
  • Experience with negotiations and contract management of international and local suppliers;
  • Experience in buying and negotiating Facility Management services like Security Services, Employee, Transportation, Canteen Services, Cleaning Services, Office Supplies, Working Clothes etc.);
  • Excellent English skills on a business proficiency level (speaking and writing);
  • Very good computer skills (e.g. Microsoft Office and SAP);
  • Good presentation preparation and delivery skills;
  • High analytical skills;
  • Ability to analyze complex data and develop strategies;
  • Willingness to achieve results in a team environment;
  • High personal motivation and ability to develop practical or innovative alternative approaches to meet objectives;
  • Teamwork spirit;
  • Self-motivated and independent;
  • Willingness to travel (20%).
