Job Responsibilities :
Drive overall strategies of the organization to ensure cost saving through the following phases of ASC (Advance Supply Chain perspective) :
Idea Generation and Screening
Concept Development / Testing
Analysis
Product Development
Market Trends
Commercialization and Industrialization (Regional Level)
Drive PDM (price decision making) approach and target on-time cost at BOM
Establish ASC reporting to provide status on all global projects - e.g. on time PO placement, PPAP and critical supplier topics for ASC
Driving early involvement and design to cost Activities
Align Sourcing Activities with Joint Ventures
Conduct cross functional Sourcing Boards for alignment and final sourcing approvals
Drive an early engagement to arrive at a competitive cost and work towards design to cost (a bottom up focused approach)
Drive on-time BOM with the required specification based on market nuances
Conduct workshops related to competitor due-diligence, supplier market analysis to cultivate an outward- in approach within the organization
Design, Develop and Implement Capacity Development model for ASC from a procurement perspective
Drive and ensure customer group expectation in different regions ensuring program profitability
Team with internal experts and industry leaders to interpret market trends for the selection of short and long term partnerships that yield a competitive advantage
Requirements :
Language : Fluent in English
Experience : 2-3 years in automotive business, inside program management teams
Technical Background in Mechanic and / or Electronic
