As part of our team, you will :
Own the implementation of a new data API-first strategy from concept to delivery (being the actor of change to prevent direct access to database)
Govern Data APIs technology stack and connect dots between users and developers
Create a user-focused API structure, develop concepts / establish tools to maintain API library and track usage on an ongoing basis
Collaborate closely with engineers, data owners, business groups and further stakeholders to understand their needs and identify new product opportunities
Constantly communicate with all departments including senior leadership
Your skills and experience
You have :
2+ years of experience as a technical product owner, or comparable type of role
5+ years of overall experience in software / technology development
3-5+ years of experience participating in data projects on the analytical (e.g., BI, data virtualization, data lake platforms), as well as on the operational side (e.
g., Salesforce, ERPs, )
You are comfortable with the data technologies stack (e.g., big data processing technologies Spark, SQL DWH - Snowflake, etc.)
Sound understanding of agile methodology and other project management methodologies
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in information technology, data science or related disciplines
It would be nice if you also had :
Experience leading the construction of data APIs, working with relevant API management tools (e.g., Apigee, Axway, Mulesoft, ) while constructing different types of data services (real time, low latency, etc.
and using some of the most common technologies (e.g., GraphQL, REST, )
Experience with the Azure data technology stack (e.g., Azure Data Lake)
