Very large non-governmental organisation whose headquarters will move to Lisbon. Present in several parts of the globe with a very large social aspect giving support to education, health and culture issues.

Your new role

The Compensation & Benefit Specialist will manage the day-to-day activities relating to the various international insurance plans in place throughout the Network.

It includes, but is not limited to, maintaining census data, enrolling members, managing the insurance premiums’ invoicing process to local entities, answering queries from agency or field HR teams as well as from insured members, working with the insurance brokers and insurers to solve issues that would arise and to improve conditions as needed.

Collect, consolidate and maintain a series of economic parameters for countries that are at risk of hyperinflation and severe currency devaluations, and prepare dashboards for communication to agencies’ leadership.

Source, collect and analyse market salary data in order to provide meaningful data that will inform recruitment decisions.

Build and maintain a repository of C&B policies in place across the Network. Perform salary data cleaning and analysis as well as job valuations.

Create a consistent automated cross-country package calculator for international hire or international mobility situations.

Prepare C&B-related messages, notes, memos, reports and presentations for the Network and the entity’s management. Identify opportunities for enhancing the compensation & benefit capacity throughout the network and develop tools and processes which will improve the operational excellence of the C&B team.

The ideal candidate will also lead or contribute to any other HR project as needed. The work scheme is in person.

What you'll need to succeed

It is required to have a first compensation & benefits experience, of 3 to 5 years, either in an HR consulting firm, an insurance broker firm or in any other company with international and multicultural exposure.

It is necessary to have experience with working with data and have an attention to details but also being comfortable in identifying, summarising and communicating key outcomes from your analysis.

It is valued if the candidate shows creativity, consultative and client-focused mind-set, ability to plan and prioritise the work in volatile environments.

Fluency in English (written and spoken) is mandatory as well as expert skills in Excel. Advanced skills in Word and PowerPoint are a nice to have such as standard skills in Visio.
