Your Role.

  • In a dual role as Architect and People Leader (approx. 80% / 20%), you combine your technical career with leadership responsibility.
  • Through your leadership skills you win, inspire, and mobilize your team and customers.

  • As a People Leader in the Devices practice, you are part of Zühlke's leadership team. With enthusiasm and passion, you are an enabler, coach and first point of contact for your team members.
  • In our customer projects you are responsible for the development of complex embedded architectures and for the strategic and technical consulting of our customers.
  • You take over the technical management of interdisciplinary teams from the kick-off to the rollout and are in close contact with the project management and other stakeholders.
  • Your Talent.

  • You have a university degree in electrical engineering, computer science or at least 5 years of practical experience in software engineering and software architecture.
  • You are proficient in C++ and understand that software engineering is more than just programming.
  • Practical experience in development of software for embedded systems - for example, around firmware for microcontrollers including integration of electronics, or regarding application and GUI development under embedded Linux or FreeRTOS.
  • Willingness to take responsibility for software engineering in interdisciplinary projects, make important decisions systematically and anticipate technical risks.
  • Understanding the requirements of systems regarding security, safety, and quality and ability to build the system so that it meets them.
  • You recognize that enabling others in your team is equally important to solving problems yourself.
