Rencently BNP Paribas established a European finance operations centre in Lisbon, with 235 positions, and part of the Group Finance function.

Group Finance Services ("GFS") is responsible for compiling and processing accounting and financial information in order to ensure the publication of financial information and to provide Executive Management with the necessary information for the entire Group s financial management.

It is also responsible for the design, deployment and evolution of financial information systems.

Our Purchasing Solutions & Accounts Payable (PS&AP) department is in charge of Accounts Payable operations and expense notes management on behalf of the group's entities and businesses.


We are looking for a to join PS&AP Management Office that is able to understand data variance, providing a clear and concise justification of the fluctuations that will support quality action plans and enhance customer experience.

Your main tasks include :

  • Perform data variance analysis, highlight trends and deviations and produce clear and concise supporting reports, on a daily basis
  • Interact with departments / functional teams to understand variances, when needed
  • Analyse the daily reports available to identify possible root causes
  • Produce and deliver synthetic reports using Power Point, spreadsheet or graph form, when needed
  • Produce tailor-made analyses to contribute to processes and overall performance improvement
  • Ensure that procedures are correctly documented and timely communicated

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business or related areas
  • Professional experience : at least 5 years of experience in a similar role and organisation
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Fluent in English (minimum B2 Level). French is a plus
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
  • Strong organizational, analytical and problem solving skills
  • Pro-active attitude with ability to work with international and cross-functional teams
  • Strong rigor capacity, precision and quality
  • Curios mind set
  • Detailed oriented and able to work under tight deadlines in a fast changing environment
