Position Summary (Mindset)
IT EAM Operational specialist is dedicated to provide an exceptional customer service on YNCA and YEL software applications and business systems, outstanding deployment, problem resolution, provide technical training over Engineering and legacy tools at the same time striving to develop skills in users for daily work
Duties and Responsibilities
Interact / support with users for tool deployment, usage and updates
Interact / support with Project Manager any software customization or testing activities as needed.
Promote the IDEA process on Service now for software change requirements coming from incident management
Develop processes and procedures to facilitate tool usage, to automate repetitive engineering tasks, and to facilitate interaction with applicable operating systems
Troubleshoot tool incidents through 8D analyses
Serve as focal point for capital and legacy system issues and registering problems or enhancements with software vendor
Provide program design support as needed, including troubleshooting tools
Participate actively on trainings for tool usage for Engineering SME’s
Maintain tool error reporting / status matrix (Service now application)
Interface with internal users to raise up tool enhancements
Test tool upgrades and new features
Develop and maintain software and documentation for internally developed engineering related tools
Complies with the working procedures related
Report progress and / or work problems to management
Keep and improve a good associate user-management trust relationship
Demonstrate daily sense of urgency to user cases
Improve technical knowledge according new features and updates on engineering tools
Implementing enhancements and provide outstanding technical support on legacy systems for TPNO carlines and shop floor
Incident / Request management utilizing Service Now application, permitting following points : -Record technical responses to new issues that helps for further incidents-Measure incident response time, customer satisfaction, regions supported around the world and business units attended
Business Unit meetings to discuss incidents reported out
Service Now utilization (owned by Japan) to provide support to users or follow up new CAE requests
