As a System Engineer, you will be responsible for the operation data center tasks in an enterprise environment.
You will deal with windows server farms, back-up systems / Veeam, virtualization solutions with focus VMware and Hyper-V and storage technologies from NetApp metro cluster in on-premises and cloud environments.
Your previous job experience helps you to solve complex problems and provide advice to our customers.
You will be responsible for :
Operation Management of the IT infrastructure
Service level management
Capacity and availability management
Change and update management
Incident and problem management
Operational documentation and asset management
Monitoring / event and alarm management
Individual system checks
Develop templates and thresholds for monitoring
Security / vulnerability and risk management
Support implementation of transition projects
Support automation of operating procedures, including maintaining and developing playbooks (AWX)
Knowledge transfer and collaboration with other departments
Your Skills
Experience in IT DC-Operation and cloud management
Ideally expert knowledge in the following areas :
Server infrastructures (HP, Cisco)
Virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V)
Server OS (Windows, Linux)
Storage (NetApp)
Backup (Veeam)
Cloud (M365, Azure, NetApp, Veeam)
Advanced Scripting - Ansible / PowerShell / bash
Very good skills of English
