Job Description

Your contribution to something big :

The software build infrastructure relies on several services (e.g. Bitbucket, Jira, Artifactory, Jenkins, Confluence, etc.

Keeping the infrastructure reliable and highly available is essential for the development teams that rely on it. Having a proper infrastructure monitoring is key to achieve that.

Currently, there is a Zabbix instance that monitors part of the infrastructure and triggers the team responsible, through an email, every time a problem occurs.

However, this is far from ideal because :

only a part is monitored;

the current KPIs measured do not fulfil the needs;

triggers by email are not visible enough;

no central location to check the state of all servers and services.

The goal is to improve the monitoring and communication channels.

As part of the team, the intern will be focused on the assignment bu it will also participate in all team activities.

Qualifications

What distinguishes you :

Academic background in software engineering or similar;

Motivated, responsible, team player and enjoying the use of modern technologies;

Structured and solution-oriented working style;

Interest in software CI / CD tools such as Git, Jenkins, JFrog Artifactory, Jira and monitoring tools (e.g. Zabbix, Nagios, etc);

Interest in server infrastructure tools such as Nginx, Apache, Docker;

Interest in web technologies;

Good communication skills in English.
