Global Marketing is a vibrant and fast moving team that focuses on supporting our global and regional colleagues with high quality design work.
This role is the face of our design team - working directly with regional and global stakeholders to scope and manage the 'queue' of work coming to us, and leveraging external design agencies as required.
It requires somebody who likes to work internationally, who understands that the value of design is to reflect and complement the business' goals, turning even abstract concepts into something more immediate and meaningful.
We're looking for somebody who loves design, but doesn't necessary want to sit and design all day, every day. They want to interact, help and inspire others, so should enjoy multitasking and getting involved in a huge variety of different types of design work.
Finally, they should be able to work together within the Creative team, not afraid to jump on new challenges and support on different pieces of work.
What you will do
Your creative mind and design background, will help us design, develop and build the most attractive visuals and cool designs that match our strategy via a range of marketing and communication channels;
You will support internal clients directly and support both third parties and internal clients by developing easy-to-use templates.
With our creative team, you will work hard to meet internal deadlines, while keeping an eye on the budget;
You will work on the promotion and branding of conferences and exhibitions by preparing, for example, materials, presentations, exhibition stands, corporate videos whist also documenting / recording the event for use in post-
activities such as social media and marketing campaigns. (Focussing on printed materials?)
You will work as a true business partner / consultant in giving advice and guidance on creative needs of internal clients;
You will support the business with your skills as a natural leader and love to coach other creative professionals to help them deliver.
You have a Bachelor's degree or an FE qualification and experience in a relevant discipline;
You bring 4+ years of similar experience;
You take raw concepts and cultivate them into awesome visuals;
You know quite a lot about marketing strategies and brand identity / management, both on and off line;
You are fluent in the industry standard design software packages;
You have experience in Adobe Creative Cloud (primarily InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) and working in design systems and grids / wireframes;
You have strong design skills (marketing communications) and experience preparing visuals for print;
You can translate loose ideas into strong briefs as well as improve provided briefs to ensure highest quality;
You have a good understanding of recent visual communications trends and managing design workflow;
Every day you bring your energy, enthusiasm and creative mind to the office;
You easily connect and talk with people at all levels;
Your video editing & Filming experience will be a bonus;
Your English is fluent .
