Job Overview and Responsibilities

Position overview The Partnership team is concentrating on the management of the relationship with the Key suppliers of Solvay IT, representing 65% of total external IT expenses. Partnership Team mission

  • IT Partnership maximizes value from IT key vendors while establishing, maintaining, and monitoring an effective long-term relationship.
  • We drive supplier effectiveness by implementing strong governance, identifying megatrends and supporting them.
  • Develop IT vendor management expertise to enable the organization to reduce risks, drive cost reduction and be the reference within our organization.
  • To establish, maintain, monitor and evaluate vendor relationships To reduce risks, deliver improvements to vendor performance, drive greater levels of innovation and help to deliver competitive advantages to Solvay IT.
  • Manage and implement the sourcing roadmap.
  • To Coordinate IT and group corporate stakeholders like IT service owner, delivery manager, legal, compliance, data privacy, cyber security during the RFP / contract preparation process and the contract life cycle, to make our Partners and contracts compliant with Group Policy
  • Portfolio : IT Outsourcing / End User support Services / Cyber security and Application support Delivery Management The IT Global Delivery Mission are : His / her role is to align operationally all service lines on the application of the contract.

    Manage and follow-up the services provided :

  • Organize the services and solutions (incl. SLA and SOP’s) and follow them up to ensure they are reached, taking appropriate actions when necessary;
  • Apply escalation procedure when necessary

  • Ensure consistency of services with Service Lines Partnership coordinators, under the leadership of the Service Line manager;
  • Manage the forecast planning and ensure that the partners provide the corresponding capacity management;
  • Ensure that the partners' key resources have the right skills / competencies;
  • Keep updated of the contract changes;
  • Keep updated operational procedures and documentation;
  • Ensure the coordination and consistency of services with other Solutions and Service Delivery Managers;
  • Liaise with internal customers in order to meet / improve SLA requirements and to ensure trouble-shooting;
  • Ensure continuous improvement of services provided :

  • Review on a regular basis services provided and (key) user and shared services teams satisfaction and detect and define areas for improvements;
  • Perform solution usage follow up;
  • Ensure better data consistency and effective best practices;
  • Ensure service continuity, working with other IS teams;
  • Review timely delivery from external partners.
  • In particular :

  • Leverage Vendor Management best practices
  • Drive Partners innovation and continuous improvement
  • Manage and improve vendor relationships
  • Guarantee the vendor performance through establishment of a strong Governance (mirror organization, service review meetings) and Performance management (SLAs in contract, SLAs reported on, effectiveness of improvement plans) with the IT service owners
  • Implement the IS sourcing roadmap, and rationalize vendors
  • Participate in contract terms negotiations (mainly on SLA, compliance, BCP, GDPR clauses)
  • Coordinate Supplier risk management (BCP, DRP )
  • Stay updated about evolutions and developments within own domain of responsibility, about Group and IT policies and directives affecting it.
  • Stay updated about internal customer demand and needs within own domain, and about external service providers, their offer and the quality of their services
  • Education and Experience

  • Master degree (or similar level of formal qualification) in Purchasing, IS Management or IT engineer
  • A 5+ year experience in the IS outsourcing project (Infrastructure, Move to Cloud ) or in Purchasing in a IT or technical environment
  • Skills

  • You have as well a supplier / contract management experience either in Purchasing or IS delivery
  • You are able to interact within a complex environment, and act as a leader to efficiently animate / challenge internal customers and sourcing team
  • Good negotiation and communication skills.
