The acquiring specialist sales team is part of our global sales team that sits inside Revolut Business. The acquiring specialist sales team is focussed on the growth of our active merchant customers through successful sales and activation of our payments solutions.

ABOUT THE ROLE Acquiring specialists are expected to work as part of wider sales team, supporting those teams to generate improved volumes of qualified payments prospects.

Specialists are expected to be able to bring their product specific expertise to sales teams to help close our more complex sales opportunities, as well as be able to operate independently to cross-sell into our existing base of Revolut customers.

KPI’s will be focussed on pipeline creation and payments revenue. Key focus will be on building and driving a sales pipeline for our range of innovative e-commerce focussed payment solutions.

These solutions are focussed on helping businesses to improve their customers buying experience online. Clients will also be able to take advantage of a raft of future product releases as we endeavour to maintain our position as a leading global fintech and financial services provider.


  • This is an overlay sales role. You will be expected to support a team of sales representatives to build and close a qualified pipeline of prospects for our payments solutions.
  • In addition you will be able to work independently to build and close a pipeline of customers by prospecting directly across our existing base of Revolut Business customers.
  • You will need to communicate the Revolut acquiring value proposition to prospective customers by identifying issues with their current payment providers.
  • You will need to build the confidence and expertise in payments across your aligned sales team by sharing your knowledge in order to maximise the number of acquiring prospects in the sales pipeline.
  • You will need to meet / exceed the sales targets set by sales management in line with the Growth team KPIs.

  • Contacting prospective customers from a defined territory / vertical to discuss Revolut’s payments product.
  • Communicating effectively the value proposition by focusing on a solution based sales process.
  • Developing the knowledge and skills of the wider sales team, so that they can develop expertise in positioning the Revolut payment products to prospective customers.

  • Excellent communication skills and articulation over the phone
  • Demonstrable commercial experience, particularly in telesales
  • Keen interest in commencing a career in a high performing sales culture
  • Minimum GPA 3.5 / 4 (US), 60% (UK), 8 / 10 in any other country
  • Any of the following :
  • Worked at a large tech company worth more than US$15B
  • Well-known selective non-tech company : Tier-1 or tier-2 strategy consultancies, tier-1 investment banks, private equity
  • STEM (technical) degree from top 15 unis in the US, top 5 in the UK, top 2 in any other country

  • Fintech B2B sales experience
  • Previous experience selling payment solutions
  • Founder experience
  • Demonstrable experience in Financial Markets
