Development Manager, B2b Department
As B2b Development Manager, your role will be to spread the word about Uniplace amongst local markets; acquiring, identifying and working with key partners to establish long-lasting relationships with and bringing our platform to students looking for our services both online and offline.
This is a proactive sales role which requires strong sales skill from the point of lead generation to close negotiation.
Responsibilities
Leading the development & fulfillment of business strategies
Actively searching for potential partners and arranging meetings
Working with the operational and marketing teams to generate better results for the region across each marketing vertical
Working with the Accommodation Teams and Booking Teams in order to gather the correct information about each market, demand and supply
Acquiring and Building long-lasting relationships with key partners across each region
Being the face of Uniplaces with these partners and ensuring they have a great experience across every touchpoint
Identifying new partnerships and opportunities for Uniplaces
Identifying regional online event opportunities to attend and building the Uniplaces brand
Attending on-line regionally-specific events for the development of partnerships
Communicating with key accommodation partners and agencies, ensuring updated intelligence of the market, assisting booking consultants in property communications or providing consultants with answers to property details
Having a visible presence by visiting and keeping in touch with all partners
Representing the company’s values at all times
Being the champion for your Department. Leading the growth strategies for our core markets
Managing and supporting the operational team with agent / s incoming request via whatsapp / email and API
Process Oriented : Ability to identify and solve problems quickly, troubleshoot, and drive to a solution while fostering best practices
Providing a weekly report on department’s performance
Updating the data team to enable them to maintain visibility of Partner Agency and overall booking / revenue convertion
Providing feedback and advise to the Supply, Marketing, Sales and Service teams to ensure efficiency of process & booking
Candidate Prof ile :
Enthusiastic about Sales
Knowledge of Salesforce (desired but not essential)
Excellent team player who contributes to ideas for the success of the team
Self-motivated, result oriented, with track record of delivering to targets
Ability to manage different tasks at the same time
Quick to learn and apply knowledge
Essential :
2 years’ experience in a business development or growth role
Building and maintaining a network of partners and customers
Ability to take a dynamic and entrepreneurial approach
Highly energetic personality
Working knowledge of Mac OS, Google Workspace, and other cloud-based programs (such as Slack, MS Office, etc)
Fluent in written English
Preferred :
Working knowledge of online marketing
Strong customer success focus
Experience within Marketplaces, EdTech, Fin-tech, E-commerce environment and / or travel industry
