The Junior Sales Engagement Manager supports autonomously national customer projects of low and medium complexity from initial bid qualification until contract signature with the objective of increasing the winning chances and hence leveraging the revenue and margin targets of the Sales areas
Key Accountabilities :
Qualifies and evaluates the specific customer project requirements and matches those with the portfolio and the corporate strategy by involving relevant subject matter expert departments and experts
In-depth analysis of customer tender documents, to find gaps and take advantage of them
Active support of target price definition and development of recovery plans; use internal network to involve corporate subject-matter-experts to support the sales strategy and create a compelling value preposition à Functional steering and coordination of the entire bid team to ensure development of a compelling value preposition
Responsible for the alignment and coordination of various stakeholder departments, Sales regions and Senior management
Preparation and management of the project plan
Definition of bid budget together with the financial stakeholders and controlling of cost, quality and deadlines
Responsible for the calculation of the project business case based on central and local (country specific) cost parameters in order to provide a comprehensive profit & loss view as basis for senior management approval
Responsible to ensure financial, contractual and commercial risks are assessed and made transparent to senior management
Ensure corporate assurance process is followed according to official guidelines and rules
Ensure project is handed over to operations after successful contract negotiations
Responsible for documentation of project data in existing systems and tools to provide common basis for analysis and reporting
