The Finance & Controlling Solutions Architect’s role is to gain expertise in the assigned solution and to implement solutions.
She / He is also responsible to ensure functional and operational support on a global level.
The Solutions Architect works in close contact with external partners, key users and functional departments and ensures a proper collaboration between the different stakeholders and the provision of solutions in time, in budget and in quality
Main Missions and Results :
Acts as internal expert for her / his domain : implementation of whole solutions, new and revised functions in close cooperation with the plants, functional departments and other stakeholders
Support in developing functional expertise in his / her domain
Selection of additional solutions and adaption for specific tasks
Control external partners during realization and implementation of system enhancement
Contribution to projects worldwide (eg. project management, internal consulting)
Control the implementation of processes
Business and process analysis within the concerned functional area
Analysis of requirements, definition of functional documentation and specifications for system development in cooperation with departments and plants
Proposes and / or validates changes and adaptations to cover new business needs in his / her solution; promotes the standard system solutions when possible
Ensures update and validation of functional documentation
Works closely with the different process owners on all issues concerning his / her solution
Supports the core model understanding and application in the various locations during and after the implementation phase
Support the integration activities for data migration & interfaces, if applicable
Global support and contact person for all change requests (in co-operation with the concerned process oweners) in the area of responsibility.
Ensure Security of standards according to the internal / external guidelines such as : IT Architecture, IT Security, etc.

Skills and Knowhow
Position desired skill elements :
Experience in automotive industry and / or in plants
Master Degree in economics, computer scienced or similar qualification
Experience (3+ years) working with FICO modules
SAP ECC knowledge FiCo, PS
Experience process analysis, project management
Technical understanding of IT Systems
Strong analytical skills, conceptual strength
Communication and presentation skills to convince teams
Know how transfer / best practice sharing
Very good level of English (spoken & written), German is a plus.
