As a Senior DevOps engineer your role is instrumental in shaping the cloud and system architecture as part of a team of six platform engineers.
You'll be coaching the teams and sharing best practices, while enjoying the technical challenges that come with the global spanning of a fast growing organisation.
Your Role
Develop and maintain a DevOps stack with infrastructure as code (Ansible and Terraform) to support application developers
Finalise the migration of our existing applications to managed AWS services and Kubernetes
Build & maintain platform tooling and CI / CD pipelines to help our product development teams develop faster and automate processes
Plan and monitor capacity, performance, security and availability of services
Train application developers on DevOps skills
Requirements
Experience as DevOps Engineer or Software Engineer
Practical experience and solid knowledge of cloud computing concepts and AWS services
Hands-on experience and a broad understanding of modern technologies as e.g. Kubernetes, Kafka, Prometheus & Grafana, ELK, Terraform
Solid networking, containerization (Docker) and Linux system administration skills
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, strong client focus
Strong observability mindset and troubleshooting skills
Enjoy sharing knowledge and mentoring other engineers about best practices and our platform
Eager to learn continuously and automate repetitive tasks
Methodical & structured way of working
Self-driven personality
Currently residing in Portugal

Experience with a global infrastructure or building highly available and observable systems at scale.
Experience with event-driven architectures and Microservices
Good knowledge and experience applying agile methodologies
