As Remarketing Sales Specialist , you will be responsible for supporting our efforts around fleet remarketing and outplacement in one of our main business units dealing with our asset management.
You will be expected to focus on identifying reselling opportunities, executing on our strategy for fleet remarketing activities.
You will be expected to take a key role in supporting the growth of our vehicle remarketing business unit, reporting to our Remarketing Sales Manager and supporting in the development of our vehicle sales via both the pre-existing dealer networks and direct-to-consumer models.
Additionally, you will help build effective relationships with key stakeholders in the industry to drive sales results, delivery excellence, and customer experience across all 12 geographies Indie Campers is currently operating, with special focus in Germany, France, Spain and Italy.
What you ll do
Remarketing Sales Strategy :
Support the Remarketing Sales Manager and our executive management team in the design and iteration of an integrated business model that incorporates both our rental and vehicle sales business units.
Map out industry trends and insights on the first- and second-hand vehicle industry, covering both offline and online channels.
Identify and build strategic relationships with key stakeholders ranging from auto traders, dealer networks, marketing, national, regional and local Government, logistics providers and other service providers, to develop an effective and far-reaching market strategy for the re-selling of Indie Campers campervans.
Sales Operations :
Execute yearly, quarterly, monthly and daily strategies to hit targets and drive profitability.
Create and execute operational standards to maximize sales effectiveness and ensure consistency and efficiency.
Oversee the creation of ads and listings on the major online automotive platforms across Europe, striving for accuracy of information and optimization of ad conversion.
Manage customer leads quickly and effectively to deliver a world-class customer experience.
Coordinate with our logistics and fleet management departments to guarantee best-in-class fleet logistics for timely and efficient delivery to end-customers.
Build reports and dashboards to make actionable business recommendations and to guarantee alignment with Indie Campers overall business plan.
Internal Relations :
Work cross-functionally to develop sales and marketing plans that generate commercial awareness for our vehicles and foster business and revenue growth for the fleet remarketing unit.
Cooperate with Operations, Logistics and Finance teams to guarantee both a smooth and efficient operation, as well as reliable forecasting, budgeting and reporting.
External Relations :
Collaborate with key business partners such as Key Account Managers, online platforms campervan resellers, dealer networks and auto-traders to execute on the overall strategy, covering both third-party and direct-to-consumer sales initiatives.
Liaise with external partners and industry press to grow the Indie Campers brand and foster marketing-driven sales for our vehicles.
Who you are
2-5 years of experience driving auto sales for a leading online marketplace or multinational auto brand.
Preference for experience at high-growth international companies, ideally with strong exposure to commercial departments covering both online and offline sales.
Ability to engage and build rapport with customers and external partners across geographies and industries, at all levels.
Proven track record of outperformance at the individual and team level, while being comfortable with change, hungry to learn and resourceful.
Natural commercial mindset, with exceptional great communication, emotional intelligence and sales skills.
Strategic thinker, effective at using data, logic, and instincts to identify problems and execute solutions at scale.
Self-starter with ability to take on tasks independently and great team-player.
Availability to travel is required
Fluent in English and German and ideally French. Other languages a strong plus.
