As central function, Procurement is responsible for the whole purchasing volume of Infineon and contributes significantly to achieving our financial goals and to Infineon’s growth.

As a Specialist Procurement Central Services, you are responsible for a medium to large purchasing volume. You will be involved in a broad range of tasks such as developing procurement strategy, supplier negotiation, supplier relationship management, supplier evaluation, quarterly business reviews and escalation management.

  • Take the responsibility for a medium to large purchasing volume for products and service s in Central services
  • Develop a local and global procurement strategy incl. market analysis to identify alternative local and global procurement sources
  • Be responsible for the commodity groups in charge as well as the KPIs (e.g. cost reduction) incl. regular reporting of the negotiation results
  • Design framework agreements (e.g. through master agreements) for the corresponding commodity groups
  • Conduct the annual supplier evaluations
  • Be Sparring partner for internal and external stakeholders to achieve the best outcome
  • You take on new challenges without knowing the right path to an eventual solution in advance, and remain aware of the big picture even in complex situations and take decisions despite uncertain circumstances.

    You think and act in a cooperative way and clarify areas of responsibility, coordinate your work with colleagues, and regularly share your insights with them.

    You act initiatively and overcome new situations with creative solutions and find useful ways to reach set targets.

    You are best equipped for this task if you have :

  • A University degree in Business Administration, Business Management with a technical focus or equivalent
  • At least 3-5 years of relevant professional experience in Procurement in an international environment, ideally managing mid to large purchasing volume
  • Profound Procurement knowledge and negotiation skills in addition to general knowledge of benchmarking , best practice sharing, business cases and contract management
  • Good experience in successful relationship management both with external and internal stakeholders
  • Good understanding of contract law would be a plus
  • Excellent German and English communication and presentation skills (both mandatory)
