We are currently looking for a skilled Quality Engineer with a passion for Quality Management to join our New Developments department within the Global Blades Quality Organization .
How to contribute to our vision
You will lead and participate in projects for new blades models development, new features or new plants in regards of quality, ensuring on time deliverables emission, and correct handover of the project after passing project gates to serial production.
You will lead and collaborate in the inspection of first article and prototypes with Plant quality team
You will develop and implement new inspection methods globally, identify quality improvement areas and optimize accordingly, as well as design Measurement System Analysis on inspection methods, participating and supporting in its execution by Plant quality team and finally participating in the results assessment.
This will require that you keep updated with industry standards and trends.
You will work closely and support other areas in the correct performance of PFMEA and associated maturity assessments.
You will create and maintain quality documentation (Control instructions, Control plan etc..) and other required quality deliverables and ensure effective collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders giving clarify over issues within the field of expertise.
You will periodically perform quality health checks and will support our local plants with your expertise and knowledge, providing root cause analysis, problem solving etc..

We imagine that you have an engineering degree within a relevant area or similar technical education, but in case you have acquired your skills in alternative ways your application is just as well appreciated.
To succeed in the role, you will need experience with composite material, wind turbines blade manufacturing processes (glass fiber packing, casting etc.
as well as with quality assurance and quality inspections. Experience and strong competences on core quality tools and methods such as FMEA, MSA (design and analysis), SPC, Root Cause Analysis and Control Plans is also a must.
Experience and knowledge in working with Team Center IT application will be desirable.
In the position, you will be in direct contact with our production sites. You should enjoy working in manufacturing environment with blue-collar workers and thrive in an international environment with different cultures and coworkers.
You need to be a strong communicator who is able to keep a good overview and manage multiple tasks simultaneously, while keeping all relevant stakeholders involved and informed.
The role will require you to both work behind a desk as well as with hands-on tasks
This position requires fluency in English, written and spoken. MS Office experience is a must, as is working in a PLM system, preferably Teamcenter.
SAP knowledge and experience is advisable.
You should be flexible regarding working hours as overtime can occur.
This position will also require availability for travelling internationally on a regular basis to the different manufacturing plants where projects and activities are being done.
