Position Description :

CGI is looking for a Transversal QoS Product Owner to join our team.

Your future duties and responsibilities :

Main tasks and responsibilities :

  • Main objective : Ensure that the teams only work on the most valuable items of the backlog.
  • Ensure the flow of ideas into the backlog :
  • oCollect ideas from key stakeholders and key meetings

    oReformulate and synthesize those ideas

  • Improvement initiatives prioritization
  • oAssist the pillar lead into prioritization facilitating workshop with key stakeholders (eg story mapping)

    oRefine the prioritization criteria to be used with the entities (eg W)

  • Manage Backlog :
  • oAdd new ideas

    oEdit ideas / initiatives

    oDiscard non-relevant initiatives

  • Set schedule release : Position the milestones and build roadmaps
  • Report and communicate on initiatives
  • oEnsure a good understanding of the vision and the priorities by the teams

    oTrack progress : With different levels of KPIs

    Required qualifications to be successful in this role :

    Technical skills Must have :

  • Knowledge of collaborative tools like planner, JIRA
  • Non-technical Skills Must have :

  • Ability to work in complex environments (multi-cultural / multi-country / geographically distributed team)
  • Customer centricity
  • Ability to anticipate issues and react promptly
  • Excellent Communication skills
  • Ability to take ownership of problems and issues and manage them to resolution
  • Ability to work effectively with different departments with different priorities
  • Knowledge of Scrum and Agile frameworks
  • Workshop facilitations skills
  • Problem solving
  • Language :

  • Ability to communicate in English : Independent user (B1 in Common European Framework of Reference for Languages)
  • Knowledge of another language would be an advantage

  • Ability to travel / ability to be relocated for short periods in other European countries
