Compliance regulation and governance

  • Follow up on regulatory changes and document them
  • Defines measures to implement regulatory requirements and procedures in Export Control area
  • Prepares expert opinions to be issued internally and / or to authorities
  • Internal guidelines and support in own area of expertise

  • Creates Export Control related process descriptions, guidelines and user manuals
  • Responsible for internal support and interpretation of regulations
  • Responsible for related training material creation
  • Controls that guidelines are implemented and followed-up
  • Act as a key user in own area of expertise, especially with SAP GTS
  • Identifies change needs in Nokia IT tool environment and initiates necessary actions; incl. budget applications
  • Participates and support in supply chain and IT projects
  • Initiate and drives and tool- and process development / enhancements according business and / or legal needs
  • Drives simplification, harmonization and continuous improvement in Export Control or related processe
  • Networking and communications

  • Creates and maintains / participates in internal contact network (stakeholder management)
  • Identifies and participates in external contact network
  • Coaching and ability to share best practices & problem solving

  • Coaches, acts as an adviser, shares best practices and supports other team members in continuous improvement and process development
  • Responsible for managing challenging problems incl. solving assignments
  • Additional Tasks

  • Daily operational support to business and transaction checking
  • Ad hoc support for Head of Export control especially in status tracking and follow-up’s, change management, communication
  • Qualifications

    Strong skills and experience in :

  • Minimum 5 years experience Import / export procedures
  • Deep experience of global Export Control regulations and requirements
  • Understanding in e2e supply chain and order management
  • Decision making capability and problem-solving orientation
  • Capability / experience leading virtual teams
  • Seeking & sharing knowledge; documentation of know-how
  • Operating models (e.g. sales modes, legal entity structure and Tax); end to end processes understanding
  • KAIZEN / Six sigma understanding / experience
  • Change Management skills
  • Deep understanding MS O365 applications, especially EXCEL, Power Point, Teams and Sharepoint
  • Excellent communication and analytical thinking skills
  • English (fluent)
  • Know how in Nokia’s ERP and PDM systems, understanding in MK-Denial and SAP GTS
