Job Overview and Responsibilities
The Endpoint Security specialist will be responsible for the continuous security improvement of the endpoints, this includes Workstations (Windows + Chromebook) and servers.
The Endpoint Security Specialist must have strong experience with designing, documenting, building, testing, monitoring and deploying solutions on endpoints.
Responsibilities The Endpoint Security Specialist will be responsible for the following activities and functions :
Defining and maintaining the endpoint technical security policies and communicating them to the service owners
Coordinate technical security policies implementation and monitor any deviation
Defining, maintaining and improving the operational and executive cybersecurity dashboards
Ensuring the adoption, coverage and service continuity of the Endpoint Security management tools
Ensuring the adoption, coverage and service continuity of the Endpoint detection and Response tool
Presenting the identified endpoint risks to the service owners and coordinate the remediation
Key Relationships The Endpoint Security specialist will be expected to work collaboratively with the following individuals or departments :

Security operations team
Workplace service owners
IS Security Risk Specialist
IS Security Architect
Education and Experience
University degree or equivalent by experience
5+ years in EndPoint management
Minimum 2+ years relevant experience on SCCM / WSUS to include hand on implementation, governance, Patching, rules, and reports
Ability to document and communicate the status of progress against plans, taking corrective action as necessary
Communication skills Excellent interpersonal skills as well as both written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
Adaptability - Demonstrates flexibility within a variety of changing situations, while working with individuals and groups.
Business Acumen - Demonstrates an awareness of internal and external dynamics, and an acute perception of the dimensions of business issues
Conceptual Thinking - Synthesizes facts, theories, trends, inferences, and key issues and / or themes in complex and variable situations.
Strong hands-on scripting experience, preferably SCCM, WSUS, Active Directory, EDR.
Experience with Windows, Linux
Nice to have : experience with Tanium, EDR tools, Cloud environment
Fluency in English. Proficiency in French would be considered as a great asset.
