With over 16 years experience delivering innovative solutions, Vewd is looking to bring on a C++ Developer in Wrocław.
Responsibilities :
Design, build and maintain efficient, reusable, portable and reliable C++ and Java code (25M+ LOC; majority in C++, but Java / JNI is also there!)
Analyse and implement emerging multimedia technologies
Research new algorithms and optimization towards best performance and end user viewing experience
Keeping code quality on highest standards
Requirements :
Proficiency in modern C++
Solid understanding of object-oriented and multi threaded programming principles
Analytical mindset and problem solving skills
Good working knowledge of English, both written and spoken
Additional bonus points for :
Experience with web technologies
Knowledge of multimedia streaming standards or digital audio / r video media formats
Passion about premium multimedia experience, HDR, Dolby Vision, surround sound systems, etc.
Knowledge of Android, Android MediaCodec / MediaDrm infrastructure
Experience with large scale multi-threaded software development
Java but also JS and Python programming skills
