What role will you play?

The legal counsel in this position is part of the CentralLegal Hub for Digital Industries Software (DI SW) , delivering global legalsupport to the Siemens Industry Software business and increasing the efficiencyand expertise of the global legal team.

globally and at all levels, to address all relevant legal and risk issuesrelated to their activities and transactions and ensure compliance with Siemenspolicies.

The attorney’s responsibilities will mainly involve providing transactionsupport, including negotiation directly with third parties.

The person in thisrole will cross train to provide legal support on multiple areas of the SiemensDI SW business such as software licensing, cloud services, professionalservices, engineering and consulting services, intellectual property, dataprivacy, non-disclosure, procurement, and other contracts.

He or she will alsoprovide specialization and expertise in certain areas, provide cross trainingto his or her DI SW Legal colleagues on his or her expertise, and be theprimary and direct legal contact to his or her specialized business partners.

This role will also include providing legal advice regarding local laws andcustomary practice, updating agreement templates, andassistance with developing and maintaining supporting materials for the DI SWLegal organization such as negotiation playbooks, training materials, andsharing of best practices.

The attorney will also have the opportunity to work with a unique team ofLegal professionals who are driving the technology solutions for the DI SWglobal legal team, including the contracts management technology andprocesses.

The Central Legal Hub owns the legal departmenttechnology solutions and related processes with an aim of driving efficiency,collaboration, and departmental alignment.

This position providesthe opportunity to offer innovative and creative ideas and will be responsiblefor developing the legal department technology roadmap in partnership with thelegal department leadership and the business and operations teams.

The attorney willbe a team member of the Central Legal Hub. He or she will require the abilityto work with a global perspective and with a geographically dispersed business.

He / She will be accustomed to fast paced and high volume atmosphere and can remain adaptable to the evolving complexities of the Digital Industries Software business.
