As a Strategy and Compliance Manager , you will be responsible for coordinating the company’s expansion efforts to new markets and locations from a legal and compliance perspective, while optimizing existing structures from an efficiency perspective.

You will contribute to the company’s sustainable growth by providing holistic support inside the company with regards to cross-cutting projects, acting as a connector and an enabler.

We're looking for a talented and highly dedicated professional, who is passionate about business and inspired by Indie Campers mission of democratizing roadtrips, enabling the freedom of movement and connecting travellers worldwide.

Your drive and result-oriented approach will play a critical role for the achievement of the company’s growth targets, in a fast-paced environment where commitment, reward and recognition are intrinsic elements of the company’s culture.

Main responsibilities :

  • Ensure all expansion efforts from a legal and compliance perspective are executed with efficiency and in due time, with regards to new business locations, new business units and new products;
  • Gathering, examining and summarizing legal, tax, regulatory and macroeconomic information to support decision making at management level (e.
  • g. : lauching new markets, products and services);
  • Negotiating, selecting and managing local outsourcing partners, as well as industry memberships, in all countries where Indie Campers is present;
  • Coordinate and execute all necessary efforts with regards to public grants, incentives and regulatory matters;
  • Contribute, with a strategic mindset, to process optimization with regards to internal cross-cutting aspects of the business;
  • Coordinating with other departments to measure the impact and efficiency of new growth initiatives around markets, products, partnerships and business processes.
  • Requirements :

  • BA / BS Master in Economics or Business;
  • 4-6 years of experience in similar roles, ideally in a high growth company and multinational company;
  • Fluent in English (mandatory) and other languages would be a plus;
  • Strong organization and time-management habits;
  • Strong communicator and relationship-builder : successfully influences and engages teams across the organization;
  • Good business sense, with an ability to break down problems in a structured way;
  • Effective team player with an attention to detail and a bias for execution;
  • Self-motivating, with a sense of urgency and a hunger for learning;
  • Be enthusiastic about making businesses grow - you should not only be skilled at designing strategic initiatives, but also at getting your hands on the job.
