What You’ll Do?

In this role you will support Cisco Network Services Orchestration, our industry-leading orchestration platform for hybrid networks.

It provides comprehensive lifecycle service automation to enable our customers to craft and deliver high-quality services faster and more easily.

Also, you will be given the opportunity to support other automation / orchestration Cisco solutions built around NSO.

You will also have exposure to Linux systems, network programmable environment as well as containerized software environments, while providing support to our customers across the globe.

Here are some of the skills we look for :

  • Basic to intermediate level of knowledge in Linux systems (Install, navigate, file management, system administration, etc).
  • Familiarized with network progammability and network orchestration concepts.
  • Communication : You have excellent written and verbal communication skills (in English).
  • Education : You are Bachelor or Master in Engineering, Computer Science or have similar experience.
  • We'll be very impressed if you can also show some of these :

  • Cisco Certifications - DevNet, CCNA or CCNP
  • Familiarity with the Cisco product Network Service Orchestrator (NSO)
  • Familiarity with Yang data modeling language
  • Familiarity with NSO Service development
  • Linux Troubleshooting and system administration skills (hardware failure, network failure)
  • Linux system administration certifications (LPIC, RHCSA)
  • Basic networking knowledge (CCNA-level)
  • JSON / RPC
  • Container-software (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Java programming
  • Python programming
  • Erlang coding language
  • Familiarity with routers from different vendors such as Cisco, Huawei and Juniper
  • Experience in a similar customer support role

    As part of solving issues for customers and reproducing customer environments you will have access to a worldwide network of 24 / 7 dedicated internal Cisco Labs that span across several locations worldwide where you can find any device, model or even module.

    If you enjoy configuration and setting up network devices, this is the job for you!

    You participate in new product introductions and internal projects from your primary domain of expertise but also have the possibility to be involved in any of the other available technology domains.

    We will also encourage and support you in official accreditation by offering study materials / labs as well as financial help to achieve your Cisco certifications.

    You will be able to acquire communication and client engagement skills by being exposed to customers from all over the world, running wide variety of network set-up’s.

    Working hours : Monday Friday 8am 4pm (with periodic weekend shifts on Saturday or Sunday 8am 2pm with additional monetary and day off compensation).
