Job Description and Requirements
Synopsys, a world leader in the Semiconductor IP industry, is seeking Analog Design Engineers to work in a thrilling Analog & MS IC design Team focused on the development of Data Converters and Analog Frontend IP Products for Broadband Wireless Communications in the most advanced semiconductor technologies.
The activities encompass :
Determining electronic system / block specifications, obtaining design parameters and selecting / creating circuit architectures based on practical experience and knowledge of current circuit design literature.
Implementing rigorous circuit verification methodologies. Resolving issues in creative ways.
Participating in applicable product / project reviews.
Evaluating final results of research and development projects to assure accomplishment of technical objectives.
Preparing and presenting reports outlining the outcome of technical projects and making recommendations for actions necessary to achieve desired results.
Interacting with senior internal personnel, functional peer group managers, and external customers, normally involving matters between functional areas, other business units, or customers and the company.
University degree in Electronics Engineering.
Solid understanding and experience in sub-micron CMOS technologies. Preference for background in Data Conversion, Power-
Management (and optionally RF) design.
Hands-on experience working through the entire analog design flow steps, namely, schematic entry, spice simulation, RTL coding / verification, IC layout, layout verification and validation.
Preference for previous experience in small project leadership / supervision
Experience in UNIX operating systems.
Organizational skills are essential.
Good English and inter-personal skills to work in a multi-cultural world-wide environment.
