Technology and Architecture team is a multinational one focusing on cloud-native applications that combine big data, analytics, machine learning, AI, DevOps and automation.

Such cognitive applications will enable efficient and fast delivery of Nokia services for telco operators along the entire network lifecycle.

What you will learn and contribute to

We are looking for a senior enterprise SW architect, who designs, standardizes, maintains and documents the E2E cloud-native SW architecture across its main domains (business, data, application and technology).

As part of our team, you will :

  • Identify requirements and assess technical solutions, by translating business requirements into a technical solution
  • Design architectures that are secure, cost-effective, scalable, and adherent to state-of-the-art technology to serve in the best possible way our business and customers
  • Contribute, by making proof of concepts, to validate technical solutions
  • Define and standardize an architectural blueprint (common across applications) and set the vision and direction for architectural evolution, according to the business needs and by studying new trends, features and changes concerning cloud, PaaS technologies and open-source components
  • Coach other team members in solving complex engineering problems and undertake technical training responsibilities
  • Your skills and experience

    You have :

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or related discipline
  • 15+ years of software experience, including 5+ years hands-on experience on Cloud, Big Data, Analytics, Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence
  • Expertise and hands-on experience with designing, implementing, deploying, and testing complex microservice-based architectures utilizing big data technologies (Kubernetes, Spark, Kafka) on cloud platforms like Azure, AWS, and / or GCP
  • C-level communication skills, i.e., the ability to engage with business, non-tech people (e.g., clients, stakeholders, senior managers) to understand their objectives and show them how the architecture fulfils their needs
  • It would be nice if you also had :

  • Hands on experience with programming languages (such as Python, Java, Scala) and SQL / NoSQL data models
  • Knowledge in Security aspects (RBAC, encryption, etc.)
  • Knowledge and previous experience in data science, machine learning, and artificial intelligence
  • Knowledge of methodologies and frameworks such as Agile, SAFe, LeSS, ITIL, TOGAF, and Design Thinking
  • Knowledge of telecommunication networks and basic understanding of configuration management, performance management, and fault management data.
  • Teamwork abilities are essential : be able to work in a team-oriented multinational environment collaborating with people having different culture and skill sets
