Role details :

  • Contacting new leads, introducing and onboarding new customers
  • Introduce our product over the telephone and to build outstanding working relationships with customers and with business decision makers
  • Maintaining a customer database and further developing the relationship
  • Schedule and record sales activity
  • Learning about the full product suite
  • Actively signing, training and development agents in his / her own portfolio.
  • Identify markets and opportunities
  • Develop strong relationships with agents to ensure long term loyalty to the Company.
  • Ensuring all internal SW departments are provided with the right information in due time (credit, sales support, compliance) to ensure the smooth set up of new agents.
  • Grow the volume of transactions.
  • Actively demonstrate an understanding of SW operations and systems.
  • Produce and administer on a regular basis a competition database that is relevant to this market
  • Keeping up with issues affecting money transfer companies and the money transfer industry, and collecting competitor intelligence
  • Ensure all customer documentation is consistent with the Small World brand.
  • Maintain vigilance for Fraud, performing spot checks the sales team when signing up new agents. Liaise with Compliance on any concerns or issues
  • Ad-hoc duties as requested by management, from time to time, according to company needs.
  • Person Specification / Technical requirements :

  • Mandatory fluency (written and verbal communication) in English and Urdu or Tagalog (minimum C1 level on both);
  • Experience / background in Sales
  • Good communication skills and clear telephone manner;
  • Ability to multitask (pc skills : E-mail, Skype, CRM tools);
  • Good numeracy and computer skill;
  • Possess legal requirements to work in Portugal (residence card + Social security, etc).
