Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization :

Global Business Services (GBS) designs, builds and operates consistent end-to-end business solutions for adidas, delivering services in the areas of finance, non-trade procurement and human resources.

This drives operating efficiency, better customer experience, company agility and decision making, and ensures the compliance and control environment.

This is enabled through consistent end-to-end processes, strong, globally consistent governance of solutions and services, state of the art technology and tools, creativity, and continuous improvement.

Our Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) team handles large volumes of data and has a direct impact in the company financial results.

The selected person will be responsible for raw data gathering and handling from various sources to interpret patterns, trends and / or errors in the processes, suggest improvements or changes if needed.

Responsible for managing data set in production or test environments, developing reports and troubleshooting project issues.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Collect and interpret DTC data.
  • Analysing and testing results from data collected.
  • Report the results to management and business.
  • Identifying patterns, trends and / or errors in data sets.
  • Defining new data collection and analysis processes.
  • Identify processes improvements from analysis performed.
  • Monitoring and following up of differences between systems interfaces.

  • Knowledge, Skills and Abilities :

  • Ability to analyse large datasets
  • Strong knowledge in DTC eCommerce processes.
  • Ability to write comprehensive reports
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • An analytical mind and inclination for problem-solving
  • Attention to detail
  • Experience with SAP, OmniHub and BAM is an advantage
  • Experience in a Shared Service environment or similar
  • Ability to read, write and communicate in English in a business setting
  • Ability to pay close attention to detail and high degree of customer orientation
  • Highly results driven and self-motivated team player with compassion, integrity, trust and perseverance.
  • Curious and growth mindset; keen to learn and approach subjects outside of comfort zone, look beyond the obvious
  • Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications :

  • University degree or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years relevant work experience in the accounting / business area;
  • Broad and deep theoretical understanding of job functions
