As Industry Executive for Public Finance, under the WE Government team, you will be key to unlock transformative industry opportunities across 12 countries, aligned to customers outcomes and acting as an industry seller, envisioning leader, and trusted industry advisor.
In this role you will be a key member of the Public Sector Team, partnering with a wide range of team members at worldwide, regional and country level and also with several stakeholders inside and outside Microsoft.
You will also have an opportunity to engage and build trusted relationships with public finance customers (tax, revenue, customs, shared services, social security agencies) and with relevant partners for the industry to make a difference once these entities will play a critical role in economic recovery.
Industry Seller : Drive customer outcomes by demonstrating Industry Transformation Leadership and by enabling local teams and / or engaging directly with line of business to identify, generate and nurture new opportunities, while leveraging the value of the partner ecosystem.
Unlock customer’s industry digital transformation agenda by enabling local teams and / or engaging directly with business executives to demonstrate our differentiated value and build industry clouds, industry priority scenarios and sales play opportunities.
Leverage the value of the industry leading partner ecosystem to grow our footprint rapidly.
Envisioning Leader : lead with business value selling by facilitating Envisioning workshops with line of business leadership to define strategic industry transformation priorities for partnership based on customer outcomes.
Ideate using design thinking principles to discover what’s possible and co-develop the desired future state. Contribute to develop assets and thought leadership relevant for the industry.
Trusted Industry Advisor : Build relationships and win mindshare of business executives through industry thought leadership, network and communities.
Articulate business value in a meaningful way to become a trusted Industry advisor.
Industry Expertise : Deep industry knowledge and ability to speak to customers in their language. Understanding of industry specific customer outcomes, use cases, market trends, challenges and technology hot topics.
Facilitating Customer Workshops : Facilitate multi-hour customer Envisioning workshops, delivered virtually or in person.
Leverage design thinking and facilitation skills to co-create with customers and strategically prioritize transformation initiatives.
Business Value Selling : Articulate industry expertise and differentiated value of Industry Clouds, Industry Priority Scenarios and relevant Sales Plays aligned to customer outcomes to generate pipeline and nurture opportunities.
Ideate with customers through Envisioning, a critical step of business value selling.
