Responsible for the Department setup after big acquisition process;

Act has Finance Director for Portugal.

Description

Maintain databases of management information relating to sales; operations and finance on a daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly basis;

Ensure the integrity of the data relating to project costing and allocations;

Generate a series of reports to meet daily, weekly and monthly operational activity;

Prepare Monthly Group Management Accounts;

Take lead role in Audit Preparation;

Supervise the AP, AR and Accounts Assistants;

Discuss reports with users to ensure they fully understand their content;

Management of Assets Registers for all companies and regions;

Intercompany Reconciliations within the Group;

Bring innovation into the Company Finance Team;

Managing and developing the Finance Team to advance employee engagement and ensure the effective running of the Finance Function;

Support the Chief Financial Officer as required;

At all times ensure protection and confidentiality of company data;

Any other reasonable activity required by the Company from time to time.

Profile

University degree in Business / Accounting / Finance or related discipline;

Experience or Background in the Startups or Healthcare sector is a plus;

At least 10 years of professional experience;

Excelente ERP skills (Primavera, SAP etc.) and Certified Accountant (a must);

Knowledge of accounting standards, namely SNC and IFRS;

Fluency in Portuguese and English is mandatory;

Problem solving personality and self starter;

Excellent analytical skills and critical thinking;

Availability, flexibility and great capacity for autonomy.
