The role holder will be responsible for the management of the COFCO International Talent Development initiatives, with a primary focus on the Commercial Graduate programme.
The purpose of the role is to deliver and facilitate the programme activities, such as the recruitment, assessment, development, rotation and graduation of a future generation of talent for COFCO International.
The individual will need to be experienced in managing talent programmes, be a natural collaborator and have a track record of being able to work autonomously and set direction.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
Accountable for the operational delivery of the global graduate programme lifecycle activities
Establish and maintain core business stakeholder engagement, providing regular progress and status updates, whilst creating an environment where information and ideas can be proposed or received
Build and maintain relationships with regional and local HR departments to ensure the programme is understood and endorsed at the country level
Provide coaching and guidance to the graduates throughout their programme journey Manage graduate attraction and onboarding process Manage candidate attraction process, including building strategic relationships with core universities Maintain participant and programme tracker, ensuring up to date participant information at all times Co-design and facilitate the annual face to face learning activities Co-ordinate and maintain visibility of the rotation process for participants throughout the programme including headcount planning and identification of new opportunities Manage programme Governance process Facilitate the graduation process and schedule ceremony Act as the main point of contact for participant questions and provide support to participants throughout the various programme lifecycle’s to ensure a positive experience for those on the programmes Accountable for Ad-hoc operational support for other development programmes and talent activities Budget tracking and submission of invoices in relation to programme activities
Desired skills and experience
Minimum 7 years of work experience
Minimum Bachelors degree preferably in HR or Business administration
Strong interpersonal skills with a demonstratable level of self-awareness and emotional intelligence
Ability to work across cultures with the ability to demonstrate respect at all times
Excellence in Project Management / full-cycle activities management, with ability to track progress and follow-up on deadlines
Experience of working in a matrixed environment
Highly motivated and enthusiastic, with a track record of delivering to a level of excellence
Interest to pursue a career in HR, with a passion for developing people
Team player with a strong desire to be an active long-term participant in the growth of COFCO International’s HR team
Strong written English and verbal skills are essential. Preference for Spanish, Portuguese or Chinese language skills.
