W Algarve is casting for a Sales Executive to join the first W Hotel in Portugal. Reporting to Director of Sales, the assists with soliciting and handling of sales opportunities.

Ensures business is turned over properly and in a timely fashion for proper service delivery.

The impact you’ll make

What more could our guests want than outstanding service, a clean comfortable room and delicious food and drink? It will be your job to make sure they get even more from their stay with us.

Proactively promoting all the options open to them, as well as being on hand to answer any questions about our hotels and services, you’ll make sure they know about everything they could wish for and more.

You’ll help create the warmest welcomes and most memorable visits that keep them coming back again and again.

Job Requirements :

  • At least two years previous experience in a similar role within luxury and lifestyle hospitality brands
  • Fluent English and Portuguese language
  • Time management and decision making skills
  • Customer-oriented and high level of presentational abilities
  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality would be a plus

  • What you’ll do

  • Promote awareness of brand image internally and externally.
  • Use sales techniques that maximize revenue while maintaining existing guest loyalty to Marriott.
  • Recognize opportunities to up-sell the customer and sell enhancements to create a better Marriott experience or event.
  • Perform general office duties to support Sales & Marketing (e.g., filing, sending emails, typing, faxing).
  • Enter, retrieve, reconcile, and verify information (e.g., commissions, leads, third parties) in software involved in the sales process.
  • Gather materials and assemble information packages (e.g., brochures, promotional materials).
  • Determine and give complimentary to guests as gifts for their patronage (e.g., rewards points, show tickets).
  • Prepare sales-related documents throughout the sales process (e.g., proposals, contracts, or banquet event orders).
  • Serve as the point of contact for clients and communicate with them by phone and email to respond to questions and requests.
