Your contribution to something big :
Perform Finite Element modeling and simulations using Ansys for design verification and optimization :
FEM-Simulation of heat flow and dissipation and FEM-Simulation of Strain and Stress, estimation of distortion;
Reciprocal interference of system components and evaluation of active or passive cooling and heating solutions.
Interpret FEA results and provide physical explanations and possible solutions :
Identification of heat generation at component and system level (from opto-electronic devices, PCB, external factor : environmental temperature and / or solar radiation, etc.);
Recommend / advice new design changes / directions to meet product requirements.
Participate in multidisciplinary environment, with creativity and be proactive during team brainstorming’s .
What distinguishes you :
Knowledge in Thermodynamics and Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD);
FEM-Simulation of heat flow and FEM-Simulation of Strain and Stress;
Excellent knowledge in Ansys and floEFD (Mentor Graphics);
Know-how in application of programs / tools for automated evaluation of simulation (e.g. ZEMAX, Matlab);
Experience with optical-mechanical and / or electro-mechanical design is desirable;
Good Communication skills : fluent in English, confident and efficient speaker.
