What you'll do :

  • Own vision, strategy, product requirements and roadmap for our UK & EU payments and data products
  • Drive growth of existing commercial portfolio and identify new payment flows and opportunities
  • Engage with our global merchants to understand their pain points and build compelling solutions for them
  • Manage relationships and integration with banks and third party solution providers
  • Monitor industry trends, competitive landscape and regulatory changes
  • Lead the planning, discovery / scoping, and prioritization of product features to achieve our product vision
  • Develop business requirements - including feature lists and user stories
  • Engage closely with engineering and architecture to determine the best technical implementation and with our UX / UI team to create frictionless user experiences
  • Dig deep into our data to inform the roadmap and improve key product metrics (conversion, adoption, satisfaction)
  • Who you are :

  • 8+ years experience as a product manager with at least
  • 4+ years in the payment industryBachelor's degree in Computer Science, EE, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Business Administration or equivalent experience.
  • Masters degree or MBA is a plus.

  • Deep understanding and experience working with European payment rails such as BACS, Faster Payments, SEPA DD, SCT / SCT Inst, etc.
  • Familiarity with UK Open Banking and PSD2 APIs (data and payments), and relevant regulations and industry standardization initiatives such as OBIE, EPC, PSD2, RTS, and SCA
  • Understanding of traditional and emerging payment rails and systems;
  • Experience working with banking partners as well as treasury functions a plus
  • Technical background and ability to evaluate the technological strengths and weakness of third party solutions
  • Experience working with Agile methodologies (include writing user stories, leading scrum teams)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills : great listener with the ability to concisely synthesize complex issues and communicate effectively across the organization to all stakeholders
  • Demonstrated excellence in making informed judgements, and setting priorities in ambiguous situations
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills
  • Deep customer empathy with a relentless drive to understand and resolve our users’ pain points
  • Strong ability to be a self-starter and deliver results in ambiguous environments
  • Meticulous and detail-oriented without losing sight of the big picture and time-to-market
  • Proven ability to thrive in a fast-moving, startup environment
