Job Description

We are looking for a Technical Writer for our !

In this role, you will design and develop the end-user and administrator technical documentation for our customers and partners.

Although we are MANTAs, in this position, you would be more of a chameleon, able to quickly switch and adjust your tone based on the chosen audience.

About your team : The Research & Education team is developing and sharing knowledge about MANTA as a product but also building the brand new space for Data Lineage on the market.

Along with that, we are shaping the future direction and focus of MANTA.

What you'll do :

You will re-design, publish, and maintain high-quality external documentation for all MANTA end-users as well as administrators

Make technical language accessible for our users and deliver content in the language appropriate for relevant audiences

Collaborate with the wider Research & Education team but also stay close to our Engineering team to provide users with accurate, up-to-date and comprehensive documentation

Assist with the publishing of internal release notes to the wider business

Review existing and new documentation to maintain continuity of style and accuracy of information

What you should have :

Experience from a tech writer role or similar position

Knowledge of technical writing in cooperation with an engineering team in the SW industry (data-management space preferred)

Strong technical writing skills in English, including structuring content for ease of comprehension and communicating complex concepts

At least a bachelor’s degree

Strong English writing and communication skills

Basic knowledge of data space, e.g. relational databases, ETL tools, reporting / BI systems, big data space, is a big advantage
