Role's Description

We are looking for a Solution Architect - specialized in IP and Packet Core - to join the Services Business Unit of IP / Optical Networks.

Missions

You will reinforce the activities of IP and Packet Core Design and optimization developing skills around Mobile Gateway and Mobility Management (Evolved Packet Core) in virtualized environment together with IP architectures primarily on ION product portfolio, sometimes in an E2E solution context (LTE / 5G or Wifi) or multivendor environment (Strategic Industries).

On top, you will be working on analysis and delivery of engineering design of LTE / 5G Packet Core & IP architectures (High Level Design HLD and Low Level Design LLD) , and as per evolution to virtualization, you will have to design these solutions in cloud / virtualized environment, using Openstack or VMWARE.

The design may include also interconnection with transport backbones and backhaul networks for IP / MPLS-based IP Routing products (7750, Virtualized Routers, and SDN / Routing solution ), WiFi (hotspots, WiFi offload, VoWiFi- EPDG), these solutions could be HW based or VNF as well in a cloud environment.

You will also contribute to the capitalization of expertise and excellence via the definition of generic rules of architecture and engineering, based on best practices.

Internal Lab preparation and configuration testing are also part of job, in order to get trained and validate configuration.

Missions, in country and abroad, ranging from several days to several weeks, are an integral part of the business with the purpose of : architecture / design preparation, present the results of audits or on-site consultancy
