Responsibilities

The Workplace Strategy and Development manager role includes the following tasks :

  • Responsible for Workplace Strategy research and development.
  • Engages with Nokia business leaders to communicate the value and impact of Workplace Strategy. Global, Regional & Country reports updates of research and analysis results, pilots, follow-up actions, performance data analysis, etc.
  • Support Global Business Partnering through key data analysis and reporting.

  • Owns industry best-practice, benchmarks and trends in design, research, workplace. Monitors global Workplace trends and ensures alignment with Nokia Workplace Concepts.
  • Interprets workplace research and industry data into responsive, supportive design concepts, and feeds it back to RE plans, business units and regional delivery teams.

  • Owns the creation and updating of Nokia's Global Workplace Standards & KPI's (concepts, guidelines and tools) and Nokia Workplace Policy - workplace governance and guidance.
  • Supports the Nokia Change Management implementation program using the Nokia Change Management Framework with team and collaborators and in close cooperation with Markets.
  • Manages workplace consultancy support from external partners where required - global project implementation support and data analysis.
  • Enhances space efficiency and utilization of the portfolio, driving workplace innovation through global deployment of pilot space concepts and solutions.
  • Ensures lessons learned / general feed-back is captured to enable continuous improvement.
  • Workplace performance : supports the implementation of digital solutions through the workplace. Beyond data gathering, drive data driven design and connected workplace concepts, leveraging on existing platforms and introducing new technology in the workplace allowing for implementation of spatial analytics that helps to understand the impact of design, choice and behavior.
  • Enables the integration of physical and digital workplace, integrating User experience, design and technology to create engaging and intuitive experience for our employees.
  • Competencies and Requirements :

  • Minimum 15 years of professional experience in the field of corporate Real Estate Workplace development or equivalent.
  • Minimum 10 years managerial experience in an international environment.
  • Experience in architecture, interior design, workplace research & development, performance metrics, including workplace productivity & user experience measurement.
  • Advanced degree preferred (MS / MA / MSc / MBA) or equivalent qualification, preferably in architecture or interior design.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Experience with communication, presentation and negotiation skills at all levels of an organization; fluency in English.
  • Solution focus with strong implementation drive.
  • Although this position is open to Portugal, there is a great possibility of staying and working in the country of which you are applying.
